Fremont, N.C. — A Wayne County volunteer fireplace department is mourning the decline of a single of their personal.
Chief James Radford of the Polly Watson volunteer fire office handed absent immediately after he was concerned in an accident at the station Saturday.
Radford experienced an evident health-related unexpected emergency though driving and collided with a parked car or truck. The main was on his way to support on a connect with in Wilson County.
Radford was taken to the hospital, but inevitably died on Saturday night time. The Wayne County Firefighters’ Association introduced Radford’s passing on Facebook Sunday early morning.
Considering that his passing a number of men and women have taken to social media to bear in mind and honor him.
Polly Watson’s web site posted: “Now our main ‘monk’ James V Radford attained his angel wings. Relaxation quick main we received it from here.”
The Wayne County Firefighters Association also shared condolences indicating, “Wayne County has been heartbroken and devastated by a further line of duty dying. Sad to say Chief Radford did not make it and we maintain his family his department and his community in our thoughts and prayers as they go through this making an attempt time.”
And the Wayne County govt sharing, “With profound sadness the Wayne County Fireplace Marshal‘s Workplace announces the line of obligation death of main James Radford. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Polly Watson Volunteer Fire Division and Main James Radford‘s household.”
Evidently a male who intended substantially to many.
Radford was also a volunteer with the Fremont Volunteer Hearth Section.
